And I hate that she didn't answer "Yes" to the first question, whether people are better off today than 4 years ago. But that's off topic for The Downballot, so I'll avoid further real-time comments about it.
Fortunately, every other answer by her was better than the first answer, and it actually set him up, as he then claimed, of course, that his economy was so great and she then reminded everyone what things were really like 4 years ago. I don't think we can ever trust white voters in this country not to vote for white supremacy, so let's be very clear that Trump is still very much a threat and could win, but I think it's quite clear who "won" this "debate."
As I expected Goodlander crushed CVO for the NH-02 dem primary. I'm disappointed but unsurprised.
EDIT: Craig called the winner, ahead by 7% with 2/3 of the vote in as of the time of this edit.
The dem primary for NH gov is closer than I thought it would be. I expected Craig to win somewhat comfortably. Instead she's narrowly ahead right now, three points with just under half the vote counted. Not impossible that Craig loses the primary but her lead is just enough that I expect her to get the nod eventually.
Double update from Delaware: John Carney, the current Governor is the next Mayor of Wilmington. He won the primary and will not face a general election as Republicans did not field a candidate. In addition, the Delaware Speaker of the House, Valerie Longhurst has lost her primary to Working Families Party endorsed candidate Kamela Smith.
She was seen as WAY too conciliatory to big business. She comes from the insurance industry and at one point was Director of Operations for AIG Insurance.
Interesting results developing in DE Gov Primary
Yes. Per Politico:
Matt Meyer
15,959
49.2%
Bethany Hall-Long
11,617
35.8
38.9% of expected vote in
Hall-Long has had some scandals, so it would be better if she loses the primary.
I'm sure tomorrow digest will have a write-up
I just follow PoliticalWire, usually, but I'll be watching the presidential debate for the next 90 minutes.

Sadly it's not just debates that win elections. If they did, we would have had Presidents John Kerry in 2004 and Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2016.
My family lives in Delaware. I'm am PRAYING Hall-Long loses. We don't need her baggage in the general election.
She would have won anyway, but maybe best not to have the added drama
Meyer has won!

The raw vote margin for Craig seems to be somewhat stable; Warmington needs to cut into it pretty soon
It's been called for Craig.
Craig by 6 with over 55% of the vote in.
But why is there enough vote in to call it? Are they relying on exit polls?
Perhaps an abundance of caution; Craig has maintained a steady lead that hasn't been cut into
An abundance of caution would cause them to wait.
They didn't call it
He was using another feed; I was using the ones above
I'm not seeing it as called yet

What's behind that seemingly shocking result for Longhurst? Was she involved in some serious scandal or other?
She was seen as WAY too conciliatory to big business. She comes from the insurance industry and at one point was Director of Operations for AIG Insurance.
But isn’t DE a business-friendly state?
Statuses like that are about the business and political environments, not necessarily the voters.
