Enter The Downballot's 2024 prediction contest, sponsored by GreensBabka.com!
To the victor go the spoils!
A proud tradition of the Swing State Project and Daily Kos Elections continues here at The Downballot! Yes, once again, our great friends at the exceptional Green’s Bakery are generously sponsoring our annual election prediction contest, with babka (and other treats) for the winners!
If you want the chance to win babka and glory, click here to submit your answers.
There’s one important change this year. Because our operations are now 100% reader-supporter, you must be a paid subscriber of The Downballot to be eligible for prizes.
You will also need to provide your email address so that we can contact you if you win. The deadline for submitting predictions is 5 PM ET Tuesday, Nov. 5—one hour before the first polls close. You may enter as many times as you like, but only your final prediction received before the deadline will count.
Our quiz has three parts, plus a tiebreaker. In the first round, we ask you to predict the winner of the top Senate races. In the second round, we’re on to the most competitive Hosue races. And in the third round, we’ve got some deep downballot races that will put your predictive skills to their toughest test yet. Our tiebreaker: Tell us the percentage of the vote that each candidate will get in Indiana’s three-way race for governor.

Winners will be notified once all election results are final, so there may be a bit of a delay before we can contact you.
Remember to become a paid subscriber so that you can win delicious prizes—and good luck!
P.S. Feel free to discuss your guesses in comments, but only submissions made via the link above will count!
I just entered the prediction contest - I’d like to have these races top of mind on election night - will you publish the complete list so I can focus obsessively (especially on the house races that will flip the house to blue!)?
I'd also suggest an option to send a copy of your responses to yourself so we can remember who we picked and what random numbers we can up with for the tiebreaker
