I think that an internal battle getting rid of entrenched incumbents who have been directly involved in the Democratic Party's approval rating plummeting to 29% is worth it and I'm not so sure that Schumer wins. He's already canceled his book tour appearances due to the backlash and is incredibly unpopular. He represents all of the things that the average person sees is wrong with the Democratic Party.
